Join us for the 14th Annual Tanker’s Homecoming (ATHC) as we return “Back to Basics” at Fort Hood while honoring the legacy of Richard E. Cavasos. This year’s Homecoming promises camaraderie, tradition, and unforgettable experiences with fellow members of the armored community.

Wednesday, October 7 – Arrival Day (Registration)

Arrivals begin at the Shilo Inn Suites Hotel.

• Hotel check-in 16:00 PM
• Drop off auction items
• Explore hotel amenities
• Relax and prepare for the days ahead

Thursday, October 8 – On-Post Experience

Breakfast: 7:00–8:30 AM “Buffet style provided by USABOT”
Bus Departure: 9:00 AM to Fort Hood
Planned highlights include:

• Tour of the 1st Cavalry Division Horse Cavalry Detachment Stables
•  Visit the troops in the Motor Pool
• Possible live fire demonstration (pending availability)
• Retreat Ceremony & Group Photo

Evening:

• Complimentary pizza or finger foods “courtesy of USABOT”
• Annual Business Meeting / Spouse’s Meeting

Friday, October 9 – Training & Fellowship

Breakfast: 7:00–8:30 AM “Buffet style provided by USABOT”
Bus Departure: 9:00 AM
Activities include:

• Simulator experiences
• Military vehicle display

Evening at the Hotel: Cash bar will be available

• Annual Auction featuring unique memorabilia
• Classic BBQ (hot dogs & hamburgers) “Courtesy of USABOT”
• Camaraderie and fellowship

Saturday, October 10 – Museum & Banquet

Breakfast: 7:00–8:30 AM “Buffet style provided by USABOT”
Enjoy a relaxed morning with shuttle service to the National Mounted Warrior Museum

• Shuttle service throughout the morning from hotel
• Final departure at 1:00 PM from hotel

USABOT Banquet & Grogg Ceremony.

A formal evening event featuring:

• Keynote Speaker
