Joshua Bettle

National Staff

SSG Joshua Bettell entered the US Army in 2009, attending OSUT at Fort Knox, and was trained on the M1A1 Abrams. After leaving Fort Knox he went to Fort Hood, TX and was attached to 1/3 3rd ACR, Dragon company. Josh was then deployed to Iraq and was involved in Operation Iraqi freedom, then Operation New Dawn. In 2012 Josh left active duty and joined the PA National Guard, where he was a gunner on an MGS Stryker. Also during this time he went to college for multimedia tech. In 2017 Josh graduated college and left the PA National Guard, joining the US Navy not soon after as a Master At Arms. In 2020 he then left the US Navy and joined the US Airforce as a C-17 Crewchief. Racking up 16 years of Honorable service so far. He plans to sign one more contract and retire.

Josh works full time in the steel industry, while running his own media business on the side. In his free time he’s always looking for an adventure with this being a Rescue Capitan for one of his fire depts where he handles the swift water rescue team. He also travels the country doing media for paintball teams, he also plays for team that travels the states and even up into Canada.

Josh became the USABOT G5 due to his aggressiveness with a camera. He got a lot of experience, doing photos for the US Navy, and in his free time following fire departments, traveling the country with his camera in hand. Josh gets up close and personal to get the shots he needs.

Goals as the USABOT G5:
Build networks with the public and military.
Write articles for things involving the Armor corps
Get the best photo and videos for the Armor corps and USABOT
Edit photos and videos for USABOT, the military, and supporters of USABOT
