Don Davis

Raised in south central and western Kentucky. Graduated in 1980 from Olmstead High School. Attended Western Kentucky University and obtained a B.S. in Accounting with a minor in Military Science. Upon graduation in May of 1984 received a regular army commission in the Armor branch and attended the Armor Officer Basic course (CAV) at Ft Knox. After basic I was assigned to 3-32 AR, redesigned 2-67 AR, 3rd Armored Division ‘84-‘88, and held positions as M60A3 and M1IP platoon leader and S-3 AIR. After left the army in 1988 to pursue a career in accounting and held positions of assistant plant controller with the Kroger Company and for 31 1/2 years positions with Manheim Auctions ranging from assistant auction controller, auction controller, auction business manager, and assistant controller for the Atlanta regional hub. I’m am currently retired and loving it. I’ve been married to my better half, Robin, for 41 years.
