Ron Kimmel Bio
Ron is currently the USABOT Hellcats 9th BN CO and USABOT Staff G3 Assistant.
After 21 years in US Army Armor Service on Tanks and 23 Years working for military Contractor BAE Systems including Bradley, M88, and Paladins, he retired in 2021.
His time is split between VFW and USABOT activities. His fun time is spent cruising along the Tennessee River at Guntersville Alabama.
Ron holds Lifetime membership to USABOT.
You will find him at Ft Benning, Ga for the Yearly Gainey and Sullivan Cup competitions. The Hellcat 9th BN also sponsors Ft Benning’s Wreaths Across America sponsoring wreaths and placing them on grave sites. When needed, he is the POC for quick response at Ft Benning activities.
Another way Ron supports veterans and military is through the VFW.
Ron is a lifetime member of VFW. As a member of the Jimmy Harris VFW Post 6837, Boaz, AL. Events that keep him working are Yearly events at the post. Also, participates handing out Christmas gifts to veterans at local Rehab and Nursing homes. Ron is the Barn Manager during the yearly Marshall County Fair. This allows him to work with local vendors who support with their money and contributions, and youth showing their animals.
